Halal is a word coming from Arabic and it means “lawful” or “legal”, and according to the Islamic law, it defines that which is permitted to use or engage in. You might have already heard about the food restrictions imposed by the Islamic religion, so if we refer to food, halal is food you are allowed to eat. The term is widely applied to a series of products, but is most commonly used in relation to meat.
