Civ is a disequilibria complex system whose energy supply (fossil fuel and food) is being removed. When that happens to a complex system it destabilises, goes into turbulence (current events) and then fragments into chaos-like patterns. Civ is a wholly unsustainable consumption-based form of human organisation whose time is over in this ecological age.
