I love the new touches! It was indeed an immense shame that student activists at King's this year were looked upon with nothing but suspicion. All students are supposed to do is rave, drink and rave some more. What was more saddening was that several of those who were fully aware of the immense suffering of the Gazan's were so very scared of being seen to do anything outwardly political; certain Muslims would pick up a bucket to collect money, but would never properly voice their feelings or be seen with demonstrators. And all because of media scaremongering; nowadays political Muslims that don't follow the pro-war agenda are by definition nasty "Islamists". Wonderfully written. I love the new touches!

This was a monumental achievement, even in an international context, though you could have been forgiven for not knowing of this as a Kings students, probably because of the latest knock-down alcohol prices advertised by the SU. Well done to all who contributed to the aid effort; a core group of dedicated students will always achieve more than the common mass utterly clueless about the role of this country in many of the world's conflicts.
