On a side note, id like to see muslim charity organisations organise trips to help those in other countries first hand. Lots of young people want to go abroad and help and view poverty first hand. Whilst many organisations assist with this such as christian aid, platform, there are very few muslim charity organisations. This is a small point to make in comparrison to the scale of the problem, but I feel it is a shame that I meet people who want to go but only wish to do so with a muslim organisation, or visit muslim areas.

i agree; we need a firm infrastructure and financial system that does not marginalise the poor. economists have calculated that if everyone in the world were to give 2.5% of their wages to the poor, then there would be no poverty!
